Wearer's of Black and Brown Unite

Why is it that a black shirt and brown shoes don't match? Or the fashion police tell you that a brown belt and black shoes is against the law? I say: Fuck that. Brown looks great with black. Not to mention Navy blue looks awsome with black as well. Some stupid fashion freak, an ultra elitest, pretentious bitch, once tried to hit on a guy that was wearing black and brown and he wanted nothing to do with that slutty ho-bag and so she took it upon herself (or himself if we want to flip the gender roles, but it is women that have been giving me a hard time about the colors I choose so I will stick with the female gender for now) to spread the inane idea that those colors (or lack of color if you are a physicist, or all colors if you are a painter) do not match. This idea is ridiculous and propagation of this irrelevant and ludicrous fashion trend should be halted immediately. Black looks good with anything. In fact the only colors that do not match are hot pink with anything else. Well I guess any of the neon colors of the 80's don't match with any other colors but I could be biased against them because of my hatred towards the 80's. It was the worst decade in human history, as far as creativity is concerned. Obviously the wars durring 1914-19, 1939-45, 1957-75 made for some pretty horrible times but a lot of good things did come out of those times. Try to think of one good thing that came from the 80's? Yep, thats right there wasn't one good piece of art, music, or major scientific breakthough in all ten years. Oh sure people will say, "what about the personal computer? Or the internet?" but what good have they brought about other than free and better porn for us? Not that I'm saying I don't like some porn now and then (okay porn is great but...). Okay I've started off on a tangent that shouldn't be followed. I might have digressed to the point of no return I fear. For some reason I still want to rave about porn... bad idea I'll stop now.

Maybe you just have bad taste....

To erin,
Very possible my taste is sub-par, below average, or just plain terrible. In fact, I do have bad taste as long as the social norm says wearing black or brown is not in good taste. The point was, however, for the wearers of black and brown to unite and put an end to the idea of colors not matching with black, that I do not support. I personally think it is in great taste to put black and brown together and I believe it is time for those people out there that might agree with me to stand up, raise our fists in the air, and take down the powers that have instilled the misconception in the minds of the weak, soley for personal gratification that their "style" is somehow better than ours. Also, if you didn't realize I am being overly iconoclastic about this because I really could care less about it... and yes I know that I have bad taste, otherwise I would never have started this blog to begin with.

To Andrew,

Although I really don't think that you have bad taste, I do however, think that if you write in this public space about "Some stupid fashion freak, an ultra elitest, pretentious bitch," that maybe you deserve a little fashion bashing. Black/brown is up to your own personal taste, and like I said before, Khaki/Camel is great with black!

I don't think you have bad taste overall, just in this particular color scheme. Other than that you like a Bohemian Euro-American. And thats okay...as long as you are okay with it?! Ha ha. Nice blog

Oops, you are like a Bohemian Euro-American...

Oh yeah, and what about rap? Thats from the 80's. Touche

Bohemian Euro-American? What the hell does that mean? It sounds cool so I like that is how I am described. I think of myself as semi-up-to-date on what is not cool anymore, therefore I sometimes get away with actually wearing something that might be just about to go out of style but not quite yet. Most of the time I just wear shorts and a T-shirt, which will never go out of style in my opinion.

Oh yeah, rap actually started in the 70's. Check out Kool Herc's stuff... pretty bad by todays standards of Hip-Hop but it is rap non the less.

yeah, it did start in the 70's but really came into its own in the 80's.
